The Vario-TAP (Tower Attachment Point) from Axzion has been specifically developed for the efficient lifting of tower segments in the wind industry. With its innovative mechanism and robust design, it sets new standards for installation operations – both onshore and offshore.
One-fits-all
M56 or M20, diameters from 2 to 6 m: Installation teams for wind turbines must lift and rotate various tower segments. Conventional tower attachment points are not flexible enough and are significantly too heavy for on-site assembly. For different tower sizes, multiple attachment points in various dimensions are often required.
The new Vario-TAP fits all system types. Extra-wide slotted holes in combination with sliding pressure plates featuring cross holes make it possible to replicate different pitch circle diameters. The use of an auxiliary crane or forklift for installation is no longer necessary, as the Vario-TAPs have a “portable” deadweight of just 30 kg. Available in versions from 17 to 60 t, the load capacity of the new Vario-TAPs is limited only by the maximum load-bearing capacity of the bolts.
Clearly safe
The application side is clearly identified by both color coding and labeling: RED = LEFT and GREEN = RIGHT. The extra-strong sliding pressure plates are available for all bolt sizes from M20 to M56.
