The all-rounder for containers
SpanSet Axzion GmbH, headquartered in Langenfeld, has developed a special telescopic lifting beam that is the first on the market that can accommodate three different container lengths. Telescoping without effort, independent energy supply, easy handling and space-saving transportation make the lifting beam an all-rounder for construction sites, storage areas and rental parks.
With the new load handling attachment, SpanSet Axzion GmbH has launched a telescopic lifting beam with electro-mechanical twist lock and battery operation. With a load capacity of 5,000 kg, it is designed for lifting residential, office, sanitary and connection containers. A major advantage of the new lifting beam: Thanks to its telescopic design, it can lift 10-, 16- and 20-foot ISO containers. The company sees construction companies, construction service providers, container rental companies, cities and local authorities as potential customers.
Easy handling protects the containers
The lifting beam is placed on the top corners of a container; hinged guide plates ensure that the lifting beam is centered quickly and safely. This ensures that the containers are lifted gently and there is no external damage – an important point for the container rental company.
The lifting beam can be telescoped by hand for ease of use: Special, fold-out support feet are permanently installed on the load handling attachment and provide the necessary stability. The telescoping process can now be carried out easily and without great effort by one person.
Independent power supply
On the crane side, the lifting beam is equipped with a 4-leg suspension system. This ensures high stability when empty, making handling considerably easier. On the load side, there are 4 twist locks for corner fittings in accordance with ISO 116. Locking is carried out by electric cylinders permanently installed on the spreader beam and is controlled by radio remote control.Power is supplied by batteries installed on board. This makes the traverse independent of an external power supply and there are no interfering electric cables. High-quality electric chains protect the supply lines of the cylinders and ensure safe cable routing when inserting and removing the traverse. The rechargeable batteries are designed for an operating time of 9 to 11 hours and, with a charging time of 3 to 5 hours, are quickly ready for use again.
To ensure quick and easy handling, SpanSet Axzion has designed the lifting beam in a lightweight construction. Its compactness guarantees space-saving, efficient transportation.
The tare weight is between 1,000 and 1,500 kilograms, depending on the equipment. The color scheme can be customized according to customer requirements. Axzion supplies moving parts of the lifting beam in a galvanized version.
